I can definitely see this happening, but I think the technology itself needs to mature before we see a service like this take shape. It would be good if 3d printing can use multiple materials to create more complex printed items. I will hold off from the figurines and flower pots for now and wait until I can print something cooler, like a watch or a laptop :) haha
They can do guns now, so in 10-20 years I can see them printing much more complex things.
