War On Medical Marijuana Comes To An End
It seems the federal government quietly put an end to the two-decades long struggle between states and Washington over the use of medical marijuana with the passing of a spending measure by Congress. Within the 1,600-page measure, there is a provision that “effectively ends the federal government’s prohibition on medical marijuana,” according to the LA Times. This signals a huge shift in drug policy and backs the legalization advocates.
