Good luck finding a substance or construction method strong enough.
Well they do have 35+ more years to do it
They are estimating that they can create the carbon nanotubes by 2030.
With the way things are going, I would be surprised if by 2050 we didn't have a space elevator.
What about all the space debris? Won't that create problems?
I hope they have good elevator music if it will take 7 days to get up there.
Just don't build it in earthquake prone Japan.
They need to name this "the beanstalk"
