Saw this on a Blender Artists thread and thought it is a great example of lighting and procedural materials. I only have the artists username from the thread which is doris. The thread can be found in sources. Here is what she said about her process:
"sculpted in dynatopo, refinement of sculpt in zbrush, back to blender, and prepared scene. all materials are purely procedural ... the rendertime was insane, even though this beauty rendered on my gpu still..."
