I'm happy to be here and to learn more about this community. Of particular interest to me are examining the incentive structures of organizations and (when I'm feeling especially full of myself) society as a whole, the "poverty mindset", existential threats, and I have a growing interest in how those things intersect in pursuit of benevolent AI. I have seen comments that make this pursuit sound almost religious, and I've taken to calling it the "Let go, let AI" approach.

My experience is pretty varied, but through my enduring enjoyment of tinkering I have gathered a lot of experience with sewing, woodworking, and mechanical work, construction and procurement. So ask away if you're interested in those things. I also relish the opportunity to lend advice about self-worth, as I love to give great advice that I can't follow myself...
