Paul Manafort turns himself in as Trump-Russia inquiry heats up
Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, and a business associate, Rick Gates, were charged on Monday with money laundering, tax evasion, fraud and failing to register as agents of foreign interests. The charges were the first issued by the special counsel, Robert Mueller, who is leading a broad investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion with that effort by members of the Trump campaign.
