I read somewhere recently that if Trump pardons someone, they lose their 5th amendment right to remain silent and can be forced to testify against others.

Early days, yet. Suffice it to say that it's mining a rich vein of corruption, and that could lead far and wide and deep. So far, at least, it's criminal prosecution not the political revolution Clinton Democrats are praying for. It's more than some special prosecutors found after years and millions spent, like that on-again off-again pecksniff Ken Starr.

The charges stem from when he worked for the Podesta group. Podesta just stepped down from powerful democrat lobby group 15 minutes ago
The talking heads have spent maybe 2 seconds discussing this part of the story. CNN even posted an article online poking fun at Fox News for not having "wall to wall" coverage of this and instead reporting on other things too.
The campaign manager of a sitting president is being charged with conspiracy against the United States of America. What a time to be alive.
