Orange Is the New Black's Irresponsible Portrayal of Men
The victims of the prison system the Netflix show satirizes are overwhelmingly male. Leaving them out reinforces old stereotypes that hurt both genders.

This opinion piece would be best received on The Red Pill. It's a Netflix original about female prisoners in a female prison. This is an article complaining about the lack of male representation (though the author insists this isn't the case) even though there are well developed male characters on the program. There are dads, fiances, boyfriends, wardens, guards...even male prisoners. All appearing on a show about women. Go figure.
I'm a typical male, and I enjoy this show very much, even though its mostly about women and their experiences in a minimum security prison. I didn't notice any issues with the way men are being portrayed...
