But then how are the prison corps going to get their slave labor?
Well, in certain areas of the US, let's assume they voted republican, will have their jobs then. Like you say: that it will never happen in the States, since it is good money, those prisons and slaves alike.

I've also read that some people deliberately commit crimes cause it's the only way they can afford medical care. America,gotta love it!
