So, I'm someone who watches upcoming trailers several times a month. I may only watch movies in the theater 4-6 times per year, but I watch trailers all the time. For all the major awards (best actor/actress, best director, best picture, etc), I was surprised at how many movies I'd never heard of.
Normally there are only one or two surprises on the list for me, but this year was mostly movies I've never heard of.
