    I don't see where Facebook can really improve over other options, specifically Spotify. Other than some current Facebook users, I don't see many people jumping ship.

      Yeah it kind of reminds me back when Myspace was trying too hard to be everything to everyone. I remember the Myspace video service start and subsequent blocking of youtube links for a while. Difference is facebook can do the same thing but much more quietly by devaluing youtube in their algorithm. I imagine we will see the same thing with shared links to other music services now.

      This sounds really mean but I hope it flops hard so that new startups recognize the space is full. The services in place meet the needs of every potential customer at a reasonable price with great service.
