I'm glad to see this didn't turn into people are leaving the US in droves because of Donald Trump. If you get the chance to live outside of your own country, do it. It will change your perspective and you will think differently for the rest of your life....and if you like food and are open to try different kinds....its a double do it.

Telling people to travel is the most benevolent sin of classism I’ve ever seen. Every Buzzfeed-like, geared-toward-20-somethings news sites always speak about the life changing experience that is traveling.

It really sucks to hear that such a different, better way of life is out there to experience when people can hardly afford gas to get to work. Poverty is difficult enough and reminders about how you’re missing out on life if you don’t travel makes it so much harder.

Ask your doctor if Cymbalta™ is right for you.

I think that was meant for a different thread.

            Why not both?

Because it has no bearing in this thread and is off topic. As much as I would love to comment about every post on every post, that would get a little confusing for everyone else, wouldn’t you think?

I like the new you. Manic phases are the best phases. Some other time, when things've settled down a bit, maybe we could talk again about the Swiss Army knife of panaceas, Cymbalta™ from Eli Lilly®.

Poverty is a horrible thing to be in....I would have to imagine that poverty without aspiration must make it seem worse. https://www.gla.ac.uk/media/media_402712_en.pdf

Why would you imagine it? Just read your own slideshow and find the facts there. Unless you’re being coy for some reason, at which point I have to wonder why. There’s no way to convey tone or innuendo in text, so why not just be direct?

I don't think a desire to travel denotes classism, It denotes a desire, in some cases it may only be aspirational. Many different people travel from many walks of life and many because it's their hobby. It depends on where you either choose or can put your efforts and money.

Quick note: If you're in a train yard looking to hop a freight somewhere, instead of risking life and limb, ask the engineer if you can ride in the engine. They might be glad for the company.

You’re right again, but telling people that they have to travel or risk wasting their youth, that’s where the problem lies.
