Interesting. Honestly, I know many veterans who want absolutely nothing to do with this man. They feel cheated and lied to by a man they trusted and served. I guess history will be the ultimate judge of what he did and it is the choice of the veteran's group to hire him though.
But does he not feel any guilt charging 100K just to speak to a group of people he led into a hopeless quagmire that was inevitably going to collapse? Not to mention that veterans programs and the VA have been massive messes for many years, being particularly bad under him (as well as Obama, to be fair, but hopefully progress is being made there).
It's just part of that sweet post political career charity event money-train. These stories pop up every once in awhile and I'm sure every president in modern history has been the subject of one of these articles.
And yet, still not as bad as the Clintons...
