I've always believed that a proper and well polished surface pro is what will rescue MS from collapse. People want portability but they also want a full and familiar OS and MS can deliver that now.
That might be so, however the Surface Pro 3 is still not what it should be. The biggest problem for MS is creating a tablet that can actually feel like a "lap top"... right now, the tablet with keyboard accessory still feels wrong as it doesn't sit right on ones lap like a normal laptop does. Until they work that out, as well as a number of annoyances like the mouse pad not working correctly, and general glitches with the OS, they are not going to have a polished product.
