    This. I'm training for a fitness competition and I'm eating 1600-1800 calories a day, slowly losing fat with no cardio, and lots of carbs and fats. I don't bring this up in front of my other team mates though because some of them (due to their metabolism) have to eat a lot less calories and carbs (meaning lower energy, more mood swings) and do a lot more cardio. =/
