Have to say I just tested it and I'm completely disappointed with what I got.
I agree, I got the M9, Nexus 6 (wayyyy too big for my tastes), and the S6/S6 Edge. I kinda with there was a development option thrown in there too for people who love their custom roms and rooting.
I was recommended a Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, or a LG G4. All are the current crop of great hardware Android phones, so that's to be expected. I'd really like to get the next Nexus phone, but battery life and camera are huge drive forces behind my decision to buy. My current Nexus 5 sucks on both ends.
I was recommended the exact same trio! It's a shame my iPhone 4S lasts much longer than my Nexus 5 - I'll definitely prioritize battery life next time I buy a phone.
