I think big businesses are using the Airbnb model as a way to skirt the high taxes on businesses like hotels as well as avoiding insurance and other requirements. They need to stop this and only allow the original model to work out. I just think it's crap they took the simple idea of renting a room out and made it into a business that they can undercut the people using the original model. Most of those people work hard to keep their places clean and welcoming for their guests to make a few extra bucks.
