Singing Sand
From the Wikipedia article: "Whistling sand or barking sand is sand that produces sound. The sound emission may be caused by wind passing over dunes or by walking on the sand." On some beaches around the world similar sands are found which "sing" when poured from the hand. Scientists still don't know exactly how this works.
