Several US States have made the collection of rainwater illegal, we even have a tax called the rainwater runoff tax because water falls on our property.
Another problem because you don't have to be connected to "the grid" which is required in most municipalities by law. Also some places require you to pay an actual working Electric company to use the green energy because you're taking money from them.
Without those pesky problems, this is pretty damn cool, I also like the straw bale and cob houses. Both excellent sustainable buildings.
Edit: I also wonder about the filters on these things though, where that water filter is means it doesn't look like I can change it out very easily.

How is this a thing? I don't understand how collecting rainfall can be illegal.
