"A known liberal space company has been awarded sensitive military contracts, call your congressmen today to demand change and stop them from selling our secrets!" and then something along the lines of "private companies are being awarded military space contracts with no vetting, please help support [some congressman] by asking your congress member to vote for an amendment to [some spending bill] to stop this from happening."
I usually vote republican in primaries, which is how I end up on these calling lists and sometimes they are really out there. Let's stop this from happening so [some company] can have a monopoly, hooray! I'm fairly certain these calls have helped to move me close to center.
