We spent a week in the mountains camping in the national forest, it was something else live, the most striking thing wasn't the Eclipse itself, it was the color as the sun was blocked, it was a weird color I would say, it was really cool, something else. We had paper glasses and I didn't go blind so I guess they worked.
Something else really cool was the bugs and frogs, the sun went out and they started up their night sounds, 2 and a half minutes later and they were silent again.
