Finally, we won’t have to power off during takeoff and landing
After months of cajoling, prodding, and pushing, the Federal Aviation Administration is expected to finally remove the requirement that electronic devices be turned off and put away during the takeoff and landing phases of commercial flights.

I understand the phone turn off your cell phone rule as theres signals being sent out and in and all that. But what I don't get is why they make people turn off their kindles and mp3 players that don't have internet capabilities.
I'm pretty sure like 90% of all electronics these days have some kind of internet capability.
It will be nice to be able to use my camera during the take offs and landings. I've always wanted to "break the rules" and just secretly take some shots, but I don't know how I'd react if someone said something.
I've been doing that for as long as I can remember. I guess you can call me a rebel :P
