This is so messed up on many levels. Literally anyone living in a regular home can be a victim.

And Trump wants to give MORE military style weapons to regular police?!

They've been selling surplus to the police for many years, since Iraq. It went on under Obama for his whole term and very little notice or alarm was displayed. This is a program that goes beyond any one president, much deeper.

What do you suppose should be done? I mean what can even be done?

It's a good question. I'm going to look into who authorised this process. Seems industry , military and Congress would have to be involved...and I wonder if it was done after WW11, Korea and Vietnam....or is this a recent development.

Traveling? You must be more at home, by now, as a ward of the airlines than on any of your native islands.

That's somewhat true I suppose, but really did just land in Hong Kong from Philly 1 hour ago!

And when you left your tray table up, your seat in the fully-upright position, and made your way to the nearest cabin exit to say goodbye, was somebody chopping onions?

I don't get how people get so worked up over video games. Such a sad story.

I really hope this serial swatter gets the book thrown at him. What a truly psychopathic mind.

You have to question the approach the police took here.

Since when did these childish pranks involve murdering innocent people, improperly using police resources, and then stupidly admitting it on Twitter?
