You should take a gander at the funky page designs and stuff on amazon and see if it's something you'd be into. There's a lot of mental gymnastics involved in reading it.

I read the last book in the Eragon trilogy. I really disliked it throughout, but wanted the closure from the series. That didn't even turn out to be worth it really.

I made it to chapter 11 of Twilight before putting it down. I really made an earnest attempt, because everyone had talked it up so much. It was just too bland.

I'm down. I bet it'll be a fun ride. The one thing that turns me off a bit is the CGI everywhere, but I'm just a sucker for special effects artists

What kind of books are you into? I'm currently reading House of Leaves for the first time, and it's definitely the weirdest journey I've embarked on yet. Also, if you haven't learned to make curry yet, it's super cheap, easy, and delicious to make. 8)

That book os phenomenal. It's what got me to spend most of my undergrad time researching constructed languages.

Well I got my bachelors in linguistics, and I'm still working towards working in the field. I'm just going at it from a different field now due to funding. I mostly research how we learn languages and what mechanisms can be utilized to be the most effective.

If you want any good intro reads into the subject, I'm more than happy to recommend!
