"Gold Box" D&D PC RPGs available once again! [DRM-Free, GOG.com]
These games haven't been sold for fifteen years, so this is a huge treat for RPG fans. These games are FANTASTIC, you can easily trace everything from Dragon Age: Origins to Baldur's Gate back to them. They have 3D dungeons and towns, but the battles themselves are turn-based, top-down affairs, simulating D&D miniatures. If you like games like Final Fantasy Tactics, you'll probably dig this sort of combat, too. I just love them.
My only complaint, no Dragonlance games! The license is probably tied up by that lackluster animated movie. But still, this is great news!
