As someone who has never played Warhammer, it all sounds like fun... but there's no reason these silly rules should be injected into an existing game.
Even a spin-off would have been better. Warhammer Party Edition or something. Clearly labeled as distinct from the core game.
It's like they're trying to turn Magic: The Gathering into The Great Dalmuti.

It would have been great as a spin off, like the assassin game for 40k. Here to hoping for a true 9th Ed. that will never come :(
