In my opinion, this movie was severely underrated. It received a score of 50% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and according to the same source a smaller percentage of viewers enjoyed it, but horror fans should not let that dissuade them from seeing this one. As this review suggests, Contracted keeps you riveted as things get worse and worse for the main character, and the final scene almost had me giving a standing ovation in my living room.
