Awesome :) Enjoy! Can anyone see any differences between this and 10162? Could just be updates to background processes and bug fixes.

From using the insider preview for a few months, they've made many great improvements to Windows from 8. So much so, I would probably say it's looking like the best Windows so far. I'm very much looking forward to using the full release.
I'm a firm believer that this could very well be the new "windows XP" and may even surpass XP's established user base and glory. I'm very happy they're moving to the windows as a service model and I think it will enable Microsoft to be infinitely more competitive with Apple. I'm excited to retain my Insider status and test new builds often. :)
The OS is certainly good enough for this to happen, but I feel the model is wrong for a "Windows XP" now. The updates that'll be coming out all the time, ever-growing code base, etc. I think we're somewhat past having set releases that have such longevity, for better or for worse.
It's certainly going to be a monumental OS, either way.
I think it's definitely for the better, but I agree completely you're correct in saying we've evolved so much as a user base (well most of us, I'm looking at you corporate America) and Windows so much as an operating environment that it's very difficult to compare the two.
It'll be very interesting indeed to see whether we will be able to compare Windows 10 now and Windows 10 in 5 years time properly, much like Android 1.0 and Android 5.0. Completely different in most ways.
Agreed! This is looking slick!
Absolutely 10162 seems pretty damn stable so far my only gripe was the 10130 - 1015x upgrade
Was that the upgrade where the start menu died and most of file explorer was broken?
God knows how all of that got past QA.
9926 i believe
I think QA was a lot more lenient around the 9926 era of insider builds. Only a small number of insiders expected a working product back then! :P
10130 was terrible, I never want to see that build again.
This is the first time when I take a serious look at how Windows 10 will present itself from an interface standpoint.
I am not sure what to think of it. Sure it's great because I can only assume that it's more optimized, but that squarey taskbar, the cluttered start menu and the lack of round shapes feels a bit like it's all forced on me. I get that's the general scheme they chose to go for since sometime back, but damn, I didn't think they will overdo it so much that it will spark such a negative reaction from my brain.
I've not actually seen any screenshots before, it looks pretty good
I'm glad they helped somebody! :)
I'm not quite getting it. I'm on build 10162 and it looks exactly like this. What's confidential ?
I'm not sure but the name was alluring. TBH I posted it to see if anyone could point out any differences I was just not able to pick up on.
Looks fantastic. I'm on the slow ring right now, so I'm using 10130, can't wait for final release.
Honestly I would recommend switching to the fast ring and upgrading to 10162. Its amazing. I haven't had a single issue and it's significantly faster and smoother than 10130.
Hopefully they can fix edge and other bugs before the release on the 29th.
At the rate things have been improving I'm not to worried that they'll be able to meet their deadline. They've sidelined mobile till RTM of desktop (more or less) so that they can present the best product possible. 10162 looks and acts very much like a final product IMO.
I'm still trying to download 10162 XD keeps failing on me. 10159 has been running well though!
They released the ISO ahead of slow ring I can find the link for you but I think it's already snapped in this tribe. You can run the installation from within 10158 or 10159 and just do a standard upgrade without having to fresh install.
I get more excited with every new release! They have really made some impressive strides.
July 29th cannot come too soon.
