Baby rhino born at Copenhagen Zoo
The baby boy came out at a healthy 50kg — not far short of the average weight for a fully grown human female — at around midday on Saturday. As soon as it was born, the baby's mother, Minna, began prodding her new son with her horn, stimulating him to movement. The calf eventually clambered up onto his feet and began to suckle. Both mother and calf are doing well.
