Except some of the cards are extra rules and "goals" which means the criteria to win is always changing.
I highly recommend picking up the basic deck. it's great fun even if you only have two people but it's much better with more. I find 6 to be ideal though I've played a game that had 13 of us and it was amazing chaos.
Have to start with cards against humanity and its family friendly kin "apples to apples"
Then.. In no particular order, ticket to ride, paranoia xp, dogs in the vineyard, tales of the floating vagabond and aaaallll of Fluxx
