Here in AK, I can't compost in the winter, but I am composting in the summer. I've been accumulating fruit/veggie trimmings, branches, old straw, unbleached paper, and coffee grounds that I get from a coffee shop over the winter and spring. I think that once it stops freezing (usually around memorial day) I might put a handful of worms in the pile.
Aww man last time I made one of these was in high school
Now it is time to take care of your garden properly :)
