No one should be forced to pick a gender, or even claim one, just to be here.

Some people just want to be that level of anonymous.

Some people, women specifically, may not want to disclose being female to avoid nasty PMs and whatnot.

If you don't want to get rid of the male/female button thing, please consider adding an 'other' or 'none' button.
