Minetest is freely available for download for a variety of platforms such as Windows, Android, Linux, Mac OS X, Free BSD and Open BSD.
Recommended releases can be found on the Minetest site. These are considered stable builds for public release.
However the community tends to prefer to use development builds in order to take advantage of the latest features the engine provides for modders. The following is a list of the latest builds by members of the community.
