Does it just bounce forever? It's quite intrusive. Maybe if you could make it bounce twice a day, then set some kind of flag saying "don't bounce no more," you could keep it bouncing. But otherwise it distracts from the other things you're trying to do. You can't even scroll away from it because it's in the static topbar!
