    "However, the study’s methodology cannot prove that playing video games were the cause of the improvement."

    Lost me there.

    I don't think this is an issue of redlining or race. I think this is a customer support issue on Niantic's part. They used a map built by the Ingress community for a different game played by a different community. The problem isn't that blacks don't have any pokestops, the problem is that people in areas without pokestops are unable to request them. Niantic hasn't given Pokémon Go players the ability to submit areas for new pokestops the way they have given Ingress players the ability to submit new portals.

    Its bad customer service, not racism.

    Shetland sheepdogs! Todd is the most expressive dog I've ever seen.

    I can definitely see my coworkers enjoying this. Boardgames are a huge benefit of working with a bunch of dorks.

    Things I think about before eating something;

    1) Does it taste good?

    2) That's it.

    Like /u/OL44893 said, a laptop will struggle to stay cool under load. Any laptop. Alienware specifically is owned by Dell, and thusly just a repackaged Dell XPS. Decent hardware, but overpriced. Alienware used to have outstanding customer service before the buyout in the early 2000s, so the extra money was justifiable. Now, however, you can find equivalent hardware for cheaper in an Asus or Acer.

    If your intent is to game, and you're less worried about the portability, I would strongly advise building your own desktop. Its cheaper. Also cooler.
