I don't follow the logic of being offended by someone stating the obvious. Calling the country they left a shit hole is only confirming they made the right decision to leave and that we made the right decision to let them in. Why should American taxpayers take on the burden of refugees from a country that isn't horrible? As the old adage goes, beggars can't be choosers.

‪It doesn’t help the Haitian plight when their citizenry leaves the country instead of building up their own nation. If not, why did they fight for independence?‬
