These tactics are not new or originally Russian. It’s the same concept of “teaching the controversy” that American loonies have used to discredit science. The problem is not only that people lack critical thinking, but that they’re so overwhelmed by the amount of bullshit they’re bombarded with that they don’t have the time or mental energy to think critically about it.
