The fact that you are to blame if a minor lies to you about their age has never sat well with me. It can even be used maliciously to get someone imprisoned or registered. I've always worried I'll never be comfortable having a hook-up until I'm old enough that there's no mistaking minors for people my age, and that just isn't a fun thought.
