Although I don't think Ultras will ever really threaten the popularity of the marathon, I will say that marathons have become so over saturated that the accomplishment of completing one isn't what it used to be.

I agree with what the others are saying. What was on The reddit community worked. However if you have ideas that weren't implemented on r/asoiaf I would be open to them.
