Why should the platform take responsibility? I don't understand that question, people should be responsible for peddling bullshit and lies on purpose, No company should be required to be a moral compass and you don't want them too. I don't like fake news any more than the next guy, I also hate the name fake news instead of a fictional, but I don't believe that there should be an internet police, and if one site starts it then they all do and suddenly it's a whole filter thing.
FaceBook: Not even once.
While their new methods may lead users to share fewer falsehoods, Facebook may also become further subject to accusations that they are the real purveyor of fake news.
