Having the OS in the cloud will make tracking everything you do on your win11 based computer simple. I can see governments buying that information in bulk on a subscription plan.

So true...This has been on their to-do list for years.It's all about absolute control of the user. I'm so glad I moved to Linux distros ages ago.
As someone who knows nothing about linux except there are a lot of distros, what would you recommend for a neophyte who mostly web browses and plays games to ease into it?
