Boundary issues: Brexit threatens to reopen old wounds in Northern Ireland

It's so counterproductive. I was just in Belfast, took the train from Dublin....it's the same damn country and bringing the borders down really started the process of easing the pressures from The Troubles. There are differences, but they are neighbors, not walled off kingdoms like before. They should just tell the UK and the EU to get screwed and keep the borders open.
