I think nature gave up on us as a species. I understand territorial disputes and what not, but come on, killing thousands of people, while destroying the environment, just for money and business? It takes a whole different kind of asshole to be that sadistic for some riches and probably some power. I despise that kind of people and pity the ones that follow them blindly.
