The fact that bitcoin is so anonymous will make it hard to track down and close operations like this.
Silk Road used bitcoin. They got shut down.
Hence why I said "hard" not "impossible" ;)
Seems like backing it up on a hard drive is the only way to go, with the cloud being spied on and all..
They say Bitcoin can't be hacked but isn't bitcoin tied to certain machines? what if they steal the whole computer?
I think its all about holding correct keys for them to be accessed. Without the key, the bitcoin even though it resides on a certain machine is useless.
Maybe it's time to back up my stuff. It's been a while.
