I still expect the Mariners to win the division, but the Astros have been building a good solid core. as a braves fan, the astros are doing what the braves tried to do last year. with the braves we planned on having good pitching, striking out a lot, and hitting home runs. at some point everyone slumps at the same time with this method. However, the braves didn't have anyone like Altuve at the top of the order to provide some consistency.
