Agreed. I have always hated the taste of diet soda. Sweeteners give me a headache, not to mention an awful taste in my mouth. I have never been able to understand the people who say that they really cannot taste much (if any) of a difference between regular and diet soda.

"Michaelsson and his colleagues said the increased risk of death they observed could be explained by the high levels of sugars contained in milk, specifically lactose and galactose."
Well that escalated quickly. That's such an unsubstantiated statement. I feel like there should be a lot more data between "increased risk of death" and "high levels of sugars." It would be more probable to say that the increased risk of death were due to confounds of lifestyle, rather than the levels of lactose in milk, especially when it does not even mention the sugar intake of the participants in other areas of their diet.
"In addition, excessive milk drinking appeared to actually increase a woman’s risk of broken bones, compared with women who drank little milk."
No. There appeared to be a correlation between excessive milk drinking and an increase of broken bones in women. The way that statement is worded just seems so loaded, and really brings into question the credibility of the article/study.

I imagine that if I were given the opportunity to stand under a 2-kiloton nuclear explosion, I would be torn between the once-in-a-lifetime awesomeness and the impending fear of..well the nuclear bomb. These guys must have really trusted those scientists.
