Think of how many businesses will suffer when people don't pull over for their business because they aren't looking out the car windows anymore. Since people won't be controlling the steering what is the benefit of looking out of the window? People will quickly find it much more entertaining to watch a movie or TV or browse the internet while they drive places since they no longer need to pay attention.

It all depends on the person. I get car sick easily and looking at my phone or tv or something just makes it five times worse. For me I'd prefer to drive, and if not, then I just stare out the window and hope I don't start feeling like ass. But I do get your point.
