Malls of the '80s!
These photos of 80s malls were found in the desk drawer of filmmaker Michael Galinsky when he was having a clear out. There weren't many weekends back in the '80s where we didn't go to the mall at some point. I'd disappear to the arcade to pump quarters into the machines, and my older sisters would take off with their friends who "just happened to be there", leaving my parents to do... whatever parents did back then. It was usually a snack at the food court, then a movie before heading home.
