I'm sorry but I'm not sold that this is actually offensive. What do you think?
A fashion magazine has come under fire for using a white skinned girl to model an afro. Many are claiming it's racism but to me it's just another article showing girls how to get something they weren't born with... If they used a black model it kinda would void the point of the whole article? Maybe I've missed the point entirely but I just don't see why a white girl can't wear an afro without it being racist? How is any different to straightening curly hair?

I've met white people who have hair that will do this naturally when it reaches a certain length. Why do hairstyles have to belong to any single group? As long as the person isn't shaving a swastika into their heads, why do we care? And even if they do shave a swastika into their heads, maybe we should thank them for warning us about their political views.
