This was after they did a study, and said that ecigs were not harmful, then banned them temporarily. With politicians you never know how it will play out. Really depends on how much money they are being offered. Big tobacco is not going to work on banning them, they are dumping money into the market to get their own brands out there. It is pharma that is hurting because of them.

From what I was able to read on the story link, the EU is banning marketing of e-cigarettes. That's it.
That's not to say they won't turn around in 6 months and ban them altogether, but just wanted to put my two cents in.

It won't do much... e-cigs have been spreading mainly because of word of mouth. I doubt they will ban them.
